I completed the 7 games with a halter around Fancy's neck. She didn't mind at all and had no problem with it. I thought sideways would be the toughest, but it totally surprised me when we did the circling game that she became "strong" and had a tendency to "pull a bit. She normally plays the circling game very light and almost at liberty ... hmmmm ... don't know what that was about.
I did this, and was surprised at where Dixie's zone 1 went without the halter to direct it. Usually it was looking away from me, especially as I was asking for something. Hmmm, how interesting! The strength of our rope is apparently still stronger than the strength of our bond.
I completed this task today with out any problems. At first Lola thought she could walk off...NOT. IT was a good day at the new barn.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Judy! I haven't tried it yet -- but its a good one. Hopefully tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a good day at the new barn -- can't wait to hear more about it!
